Weed Control
At The Landscape Management Co our weed control specialists are fully trained and qualified in the use of chemical sprays. We can spray all "hard" areas with a systemic herbicide. This is the best way to treat weeds as it kills them at the roots ensuring there is little or no grow back. We also use highly specialised weed killers to deal with more serious infestations.
Japanese Knot Weed
We are able to treat and control this highly invasive weed. It is illegal for anybody to dig up or move Japanese Knot Weed as it is regarded as "controlled waste" and is therefore subject to the restrictions and rules relating to such waste. We treat it using a residual herbiside, which will kill off most infestations with one application and remains in the soil for some time afterwards. With skilled application it is safe to use around most other plants, but will also kill off Brambles. Once the Japanese Knotweed has died back (up to 1 month) it can then be taken out and needs to be burnt on site before the remains can be removed.
